NTL Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science is a diverse group of members who are committed to social justice. We collaborate to grow individually and to use our expertise to make a collective impact on the world by doing the work we do.

Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are at the core of the work we do and are embodied in our programs. We are skilled at creating psychologically safe spaces for people who choose to work with us and strive to exercise the motto "to learn it one must live it and embrace discomfort in order to grow".

We strive to show respect for the collective stories of everyone and our commitment to our values provides us with a solid foundation to conduct our work around the world. These values translate to creating an environment where all human beings can bring their authentic selves to a conversation or interaction.

We know we are not perfect; yet we know how important it is to trust our process and commit to facilitating and engaging in conversation that results in a better understanding of difference. We intuitively believe that having varied perspectives helps generate better ideas to solve the complex problems of a changing, and increasingly diverse world.

We denounce hatred, bigotry and racism of any kind. We are committed to advancing, cultivating, preserving and fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging because we believe it makes us a stronger, more successful organization, and because it directly aligns with our mission to promote and champion social justice.

NTL Stands Against Hate Crimes

In alignment with our mission, vision, values, and the Lewinian legacy of our organization, the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science firmly stands against hate crimes and acts of hatred and bigotry. NTL condemns discriminatory acts, including verbal and physical abuse, harassment, threats, defacing of property and hateful vandalism, violence, creation and distribution of slanderous, libelous, and false narratives, and the establishment of environments of fear, against any group or community based on their identities.

Together, we say to those who are victims of such acts, "We see you, hear you, and stand with you."
