A Talk with Ed Schein at the Jubillee Celebration

Edgar Schein, one of the most prominent psychologists in the field of organization development, will help us kick off our three-day celebration of NTL's 75 year legacy. The Jubilee will honor NTL's mission and history in Applied Behavioral Science and our many important contributions to adult and experiential learning. And the Jubilee will also celebrate our many years of supporting and recognizing one another as an engaged community of learning-and-change professionals. Leading experts and esteemed colleagues in the field will be presenting throughout the three-day celebration.

A conversation with Christina Greer

Christina Greer, a prominent social change advocate will provide current insights on identity, politics and social justice. Gather with us as we celebrate NTL's extraordinary, unique impact by exploring five important themes through personal reflection, conversations with colleagues, group dialogue, panel discussions, and keynote presentations. Our three-day celebration will engage our minds and bodies through opportunities for connection, experiential exploration, musical entertainment, and movement. This will be an embodied celebration!  Our themes include:

Kurt Lewin.  Exploring and using group relations and leadership theory to understand, develop, and support participatory, democratic processes.

T-Groups/HI Labs/OD Labs.  Deepening our emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the use-of-self as change agents to intervene effectively at all levels of human systems, including the individual, the group, and the community.

Laboratory Learning. Using the principles of andragogy and adult learning, to ground our practice in theory, research, and personal, lived experience.

Group-level Differences. Promoting positive inter-group relations, social justice, equity, social activism, and anti-racist initiatives to transform systems and group behavior.

Applied Behavioral Science Research. Using, publishing, and promoting science-driven and evidence-based practice approaches to advance the fields of Organization Development and Applied Behavioral Science.
